Privacy Policy for Amazon Sellers

Amazon requires that we specify our security measures and intentions specifically for their sellers. Therefore we’ve created this page in addition to our privacy policy page, which may contain the same information.

How we use and protect data

Appaloosa Marketing offers business analytics services that include the use of the Amazon Advertising and Selling Partner API. User data is used to improve that user’s account performance, and users may share their anonymous data if they consent to it.

Note: we don’t save any customer data such as home addresses, names, cities of buyers. Storing such data is against Amazon’s policies and we have absolutely no intention of doing it.

In order to protect the security of these users and comply with Amazon policies, the below info is added to specify how we comply with Amazon’s Acceptable Use Policy.

Usage Policy for Sales Data Analysis and Recommendations

Our app is designed to query, store, and analyze Amazon Selling Partner sales data in compliance with Amazon’s Acceptable Use Policy, specifically sections 4.4 and 4.5. Below is an overview of how our app aligns with these policies:

We strictly limit the use of Amazon Selling Partner data to purposes that provide meaningful and actionable insights to Sellers. Specifically, we use data for the following purposes:

  • Performance Analysis: Identifying trends and patterns to help Sellers understand their account performance.
  • Actionable Recommendations: Providing tailored suggestions for improving sales, such as optimizing pricing, inventory levels, and marketing campaigns.
  • Account Health Monitoring: Highlighting key metrics related to account health and operational performance to prevent potential issues.

We do not use Selling Partner data for any unauthorized purposes, including but not limited to personal gain, advertising, or sharing with third parties without explicit Seller consent.
